(A message from Billy Burke)
My precious friend,
I want to personally thank you for downloading my testimony.
I believe that this recording will invigorate your faith and connect you to the God that can heal you just like he healed me.
This testimony came across my desk and I felt compelled to share it with you.
Sherrie Gatenby came to our meeting in Toronto, Ontario this past march.
As she walked into the door––this is so important, my precious friends––she declared that she was going to receive her healing.
She took her seat in the audience. As the service went on, I received a word of knowledge for someone with COPD.
After I called it out, she eagerly stood up from her chair and made her way to the front.
She was excited! She claimed her healing! She praised the Holy Spirit for touching her and everything that He was going to do in her life!
I said a simple prayer over her and moved on with the service. Why?
Because I can’t heal anybody––it’s by Jesus and through the Holy Spirit that miracles are manifested.
The service ended that night and Sherrie didn’t notice anything very different. She went home without seeing a change. But she didn’t let that hamstring her faith!
When she woke up the next morning…
She realized that she was healed of her arthritis! She jumped out of her bed WITH NO PAIN!
You might be saying, “Billy, why was she healed of something that she didn’t go up for prayer for?”
My answer? I don’t know.
One thing I’ve learned in my 40+ years of ministry is that God is THE sovereign healer. We control our faith, He controls its timing and its manifestation.
Sherrie used this healing touch as a SPRINGBOARD. She’s since come back for prayer 4 times and has received a DIFFERENT healing each time!
• COPD –– Healed!
• Arthritis –– Healed!
• Fibromyalgia –– Healed!
• A Lump on her breast –– Healed!
My friends I want you to get this. Sherrie wasn’t completely healed the first time.
She didn’t let her circumstance dictate her faith AND she didn’t stop coming back for MORE!
Sometimes God will heal you instantly, other times, He is looking for you to flex your faith muscles. He wants you to keep pressing for your miracle.
Why? So you understand that you aren’t healed because you’re good. You’re healed because He’s good.
Naaman had to dunk in the muddy Jordan River 7 times (2 Kings 5).
What would have happened if he had stopped at 6?
